The beautiful Walton Senior Center

Gaines Tavern History Center

WELCOME!

For over 160 years, Walton has been a successful place to live, work and play. A rural community with a modern attitude, serene country scenes co-exist with the urban hustle of the cities and towns nearby. Walton offers the perfect location for those seeking major metropolitan advantages, a moderate seasonal climate and excellent economic incentives. We have worked very hard creating this web site , and we would appreciate any comments or suggestions that you may have. Send us your comments using this form. Once again, thank you for visiting our web site, and if you are ever traveling down I-75, please stop by and see our city.

The Walton - Verona Preschool program is growing with the addition of a second Preschool classroom that has opened in February. Our new teacher, Mrs. Kirby, is excited to work with our many preschoolers here at Walton-Verona Elementary and the students have enjoyed their first days in their new classroom. We welcome our many new students that have entered the Preschool Program in the past few months and encourage anyone within the Walton-Verona School District that may know of a family that has a 3 year old or 4 year old to contact us for further information.
