Parks

The City of Walton, in cooperation with the Boone County Parks Department, maintains the Walton Community Park, featuring soccer and softball athletic fields, basketball courts, paved walking/hiking trail, shelters, picnic tables, play ground, and tennis courts. The City has access to nearby public golf courses. Big Bone Lick State Park and General Butler State Park are all nearby and available for outdoor recreational activities.
