Education   

The  City  of  Walton  is  a  part  of  the  Walton - Verona  Independent School District with one elementary school in the neighboring community of Verona, and one high school located in the City. The elementary school services preschool through grade six. The high school serves grades seven through twelve. 

St. Joseph's Academy, a parochial elementary school is in the City with parochial high schools nearby.
