Education

The  City  of  Walton  is  a  part  of  the  Walton - Verona  Independent School District with one elementary school in the neighboring community of Verona, and one high school and middle school located in the City. The elementary school services preschool through grade four. The middle school serves grades five through eight; and the high school grades nine through twelve.

St. Joseph's Academy, a parochial elementary school is in the City with parochial high schools nearby.

Six universities and ten colleges are within 50 miles of Walton.
